According to the given question,

14,29,638 men votes

We know,

= (1347048 + 1429638)

= 27,76,686

Therefore, Total 27,76,686 votes were polled altogether.

(2) Smallest six-digit number is 1,00,000

Largest six-digit number is 9,99,999

= (100000 + 999999)

= 10,99,999

Thus, the sum of the smallest and the largest six-digit numbers is 10,99,999

(3) Tractor = ₹8,07,957

Thresher = ₹32,609

We know,

= (807957 + 32609)

= 8,40,566

Therefore, she spend ₹8,40,566 money altogether

(4) A textile mill produced 17,24,938 metres of cloth last year

So, (2657340 – 2500000)

= 157340

Hence, 157340 did they Exceed their target.

So, (27056 + 23849)

Solution : 

As per the question,

Khair trees = 23,078

Behada trees = 19,476

Total trees = 50,000

= (23078 + 19476)

= 42554

42554 Khair and Behada tree planted

= (50000 – 42554)

= 07446

Thus, 7446 trees were neither of khair nor of behada planted

Solution : 

As per given question,

Women = 1096478

Total population = 3704926

= (1124069 + 1096478)

= 2220547

Total men and women population of 3704926

So, (3704926 – 2220547)

= 1484379

Hence, 1484379 number of children in the city.

Solution : 

According to the question,

For medical = 1237865

For education = 842317

Labour welfare fund = 2540600

= (1237865 + 842317)

= 2080182

2080182 Spend for medical and education

= (2540600 – 2080182)

= 460418

Therefore, 460418 rupees put aside for the canteen.

Question no – (4) 

Solution : 

Given in the question,

First day = 13608

Second day = 8955

Total tickets = 36563

= (13608 + 8955)

= 22563

First and second day tickets 22563

= (36563 – 22563)

= 14000

Therefore, 14000 tickets sold on the third day.
