Faraday wanted Davy as his mentor but he was not agreed initially. Later when Davy became blind for a chemical explosion in his lab he appointed faraday as his secretary. Faraday worked there day and night to learn from Davy’s experiments and promoted to the position of lab assistant. Still Davy did not have faith in him that he could do anything in science for his social status and education and he used the word even then.

(c) Once Davy tried to create many practical applications of force but was unable to figure out. Then he asked faraday to try over it just for teasing. But Faraday solved the problem within few days and worked on further creations which resulted in induction motor. The induction motor was a revolution in science for which Faraday became a celebrity scientist within overnight. For the ultimate result people started telling Davy that faraday was the best of all his discoveries.
