Answer :

(a) The machines which are used for doing day to day work efficiently in less time are called simple machines. The machines that have only one or tow parts and have simple structure is known as simple machines.

(b) If we used the machines the work is done firstly, efficiently in a less time period. This are the advantages of using of machines.

(c) The machines which having more than two or three parts in their structure are known as complex machines. The structure of these machines are complex have more joints and parts. Therefore they are complicated in structure.

(d) The force is applied on the other side of the lever is called effort. The types of lever is depend upon the position of load, fulcrum and effort. In the first type of lever the fulcrum is the Centre. In the second type of lever, load is in the Centre. In the third type of lever effort is the Centre.

Answer :

(a) Wheels is a simple machines. If the heavy bags is to be lifted, it will require more effort to carry. if we use wheel it become easier and efficient. and it consume less time and less energy to carry bag. Therefore travelers bags have wheel.

(b) Machines are made up of different parts, each parts is very important for working machines properly therefore it is very important to secure or maintain machine from rust, or other things otherwise they do not work properly and efficiently therefore machines have to be maintained.

(c) A bicycle is said to be a complex machine because bicycle is made up of more than two or three parts like pedals, handle, wheels, axle etc. Therefore bicycle is the combinations of different parts therefore it is said to be a complex machines.
