(1) How did the kingdoms of Vijaynagar and Bahamani emerge ?

Answer :

There were many revolts in the south against the central power of Delhi. From these revolts arose the formidable Vijayanagar and Bahamani Kingdoms.

  • He introduced many reforms in the land revenue system.
  • He opened Madrasa at Bidar for Arabic and Persian studies.
  • He started paying the soldiers their salaries in cash instead of through land grants
  • He brought discipline in the army.

(3) Why did it become impossible for the Mughals to strengthen their base in Assam?

Answer : 

The Mughals invaded Assam many times but could not establish their rule over Assam. The war strategy of the accused has made them different from others. The reason why the Mughals did not get along with the people of Assam was the guerrilla warfare of the accused. The Mughals could not get along with accused in any way due to their special war strategy.

Answer : 

(1) Krishnadevaraya :

King Krishnadevaraya was not only a mighty war strategist but also an intelligent king with great writers and knowledge. King Krishnadevaraya was the only king to deal with the immorality that was created around the kingdom by the Tughlak. He was a powerful king. He was an philanthropist. Through his work, the image of the tenant welfare always emerged. Despite the extreme crisis, he never lost his morale during his reign his empire expanded far and wide. He was a very good fighter so he won most of the battles of his life. In addition to being a good warrior he was also great scholar. He wrote many books in Telugu among them ‘Amuktamalyada’ is famous. King Krishnadev Roy is a king whose name will be inscribed in gold letters in the pages of history.

(2) Chand bibi :

Chand bibi was the daughter of Nizamshahi, who was the king of Ahmednagar. The Mughals attacked Ahmednagar. At that time chand bibi was not disturbed at all. She brought the whole matter under his care with the help of extreme patience courage and produce. Despite being a woman, she did not hesitate to fight the Mughals. When the Mughal army put the fort of Ahmednagar under siege. Chandbibi bravely defended the fort. She had to die in a conspiracy to escalate civil strife in the kingdom.

(3) Rani Durgavati :

Although Rani Durgavati was born of the Chandel Rajput dynasty, she became known after her marriage, she became the queen of Gondvana. Despite being a woman, her administrative skills really amaze us. Overcoming obstacles, he did not allow the Mughals to lose their opponents. Even after her husband’s death she did not allowed her being to be sacrificed. She bravely fought with the Mughals. She never surrender to the opponent.

Answer : 

(1) Reason for The Bahamani Kingdom disintegrated into five fragments are :

After the death of Mahmud Gawan factionism increased among the Bahamani Sardars. The provincial Governors began to act more independently. That’s why it’s disintegrated into five fragments.

(2) Reason for Rana Sang’s army was defeated is Babur’s artillery and reserved force.

(3) Rana Pratap become immortal in history due to qualities of valour, courage, self respects, sacrifice etc.

(4) As guru Tegh Bahadur protested strongly against Aurangazets policy of religious Aurangzeb imprisoned Guru Tegh Bahadur.

(5) The Rajputs fought against the Mughals because To replace their own kingdom.
