Question no – (1) 

Answer : 

(a) The place where two or more bones are connected is called a Joint.

(b) Cells of the epidermis contain a pigment called Melanin.

(c) Epidermis and dermis are the two layers of the human skin.

(d) The human skeletal system is divided into Two parts.

Question no – (2) 

Answer : 

(a) Ball and socket joint → shoulder.

(b) Hinge joint → knee.

(c) Gliding joint → wrist.

Question no – (3) 

Answer : 

(a) Bones are soft.

This statement is wrong.

Because bones are hard.

(b) The human skeleton protects the internal organs

This statement is Right.

Question no – (4) 

Answer :  

(a) Skeletal system.

= The Skeletal system gives a definite shape to our body.

(b) The Hinge joint is seen in fingers and toes.

(a) Functions of skin : 

Our skin protect the internal part of the body like bones, muscles, etc. the skin is act like sensory organ we fell touch by skin. Skin is the protection layer for our body. We observe vitamin D from sunlight through skin. Skin protects our organ from hear or cold. From touching skin we can known the body temperature etc, functions are performed by skin.

(c) Functions of the human skeletal system discuss below :

The function of human skeletal system are to support our boy and give shape our body. Protect internal organs of our body and to help for movement this are functions of human skeletal system.

(d) Various reasons to break bones as follows :

Bones are breaks in accidents or any major injuries. In old age bones becomes brittle and weak so they have to chances of breaking if person falling from height.

(e) Bones are mainly four types

  • (a) Flat bones.
  • (b) Small bones.
  • (c) Long bones.
  • (d) Irregular bones.

Question no – (6) 

Answer : 

(a) If there are no joints are present in our body then we are not able to do any movement because for the movements of bones joints are important.

(b) If there is no melamine pigment in our skin then our skin is look totally white and it is harmful to us because rays from coming sun is directly then attack on out skin and damaged our skin as well as our internal organs. Also melamine gives color to our skin therefore it is necessary pigment and presence is also necessary.

(c) As we known due to vertebral column we can bend, walk, sit ,move and able to do work and if all vertebrates are replaced by only one single and straight bone then we can-not able to doing all this things.
