Question no – (1) 

Answer :  

(a) We must use facilities Responsibly.

(b) The school is our World outside our house.

(c) The Community has a role in the development of a school.

Question no – (2) 

Answer :  

(a) The important public services : 

= Everyone avails the facilities of public services. Water supply, electricity supply, health services, education and transport constitute some of the most essential public services. These services are designed for almost everyone. The organizations, services that renders these facilities and we our own selves form the part of a system. Our school also constitute a part of that system.

(b) Right that every child have : 

= School is meant for everyone. Each child possesses the right to attend school and acquire knowledge through the mode of learning. This is termed as Right to Education Act. The main objective of RTE Act is to assure that each child between the age group of 6 – 14 years must attend school and complete primary education. For disabled children the upper age limit is 18 years rather than 14 years.

Question no – (3) 

Answer :  

(a) Public services we use : 

We avail the facilities of public transport which includes bus and rail and also several other public services and facilities, for instance, the postal services, telephone, fire brigade, police, banks, theaters, parks, gardens and swimming pools. We should avail these public services in a responsible manner.

(b)  All schools should have Parent Teacher Association and Mata Palak Sangh because it helps to bring about a dialogue between parents and teachers. Parents can provide assistance in several school activities. The school shows respect to all the parents in a similar way. We must always make our parents aware about all the occurrences that takes place in the school. Our learning is facilitated by the assistance that is provided by both parents and teachers respectively. Their interactions are useful to our benefit.

Question no – (4) 

Answer :  

(a) If boys and girls are not given an equal right to education, then the equality rights that are directed by our constitution of India will be violated. Both men and women constitute the major part of the entire population of a nation, if any one part of the population of a nation is deprived of the educational rights, then the total literacy rate of the nation will be decreased. Furthermore, the development of the nation will be hindered to a great extent.

(b) If the community does not help the school, then it will be difficult for the institutions to attain their objectives. The schools will not develop due to shortage of funds. Without the assistance of the community, the schools will not be able to construct classrooms, libraries and laboratories. It will also be problematic for the schools to get the sports equipment without the necessary aid of the community.

(c) If public services and facilities are not used responsibly, then it will amount to public nuisance. It is the waste of resources that will be causing problems for others in several ways. All these public services and facilities should be used in a responsible manner, so that others can also avail the similar facilities. Proper and effective use of public services and facilities should be regarded as the civic responsibility of a citizen. Furthermore, if public services are not used properly, then it will be difficult for the government bodies to provide some services on time.
