Answer :  

(a) There are coffee plantations in Himachal Pradesh

Correct statement : There are coffee plantations in the state of Kerala and Karnataka.

Explanation : In India the coffee production is predominated in the hill regions of South Indian states, with Karnataka which accounts for 53% followed by state of Kerala accounting for 28% of the production.

(b) Konkan lies in the eastern part of India

No it is not correct, Konkan lies in the western part of India.

Explanation : As, Konkan lies in the western part of India, it incorporates the state of Maharashtra, Goa and Karnataka.

(c) Tripura is the smallest State in India

No it is wrong, Goa is the smallest state in India.

Explanation : Goa is the smallest state in India with an area of 342,239 square km. Apart from it’s smallest size, this state is also the fourth smallest by population in the country.

(d) The Sabarmati river flows through Madhya Pradesh

Correct statement : The Sabarmati river flows through the state of Gujarat.

Explanation : Sabarmati rivers constituted as one of the central west – flowing river, which stems from Aravalli ranges of the Udaipur District of Rajasthan and after it travels for 371 km, it meets the Gulf of Khambhat in the Arabian sea. In Rajasthan it flows for 48 km and 323 km in the state of Gujarat.

(e) The Sahyadri mountains are located in Andhra Pradesh

Correct statement : The Sahyadri mountains are located in the state of Maharashtra.

Explanation : The Western Ghats, also popularly known as Sahyadri. In India Sahyadri Range is depicted as the largest mountain range in the country after Himalayan that extends from the Tapi to the Nilgiri. The range is known as Sahyadri in the north of Maharashtra and Sahya Parvatham in Kerala.
