Solution :
(a) 6% of 350
= 6/100 × 350

= 31/5 × 1/100 × 200
= 62/5

(c) 2 1/4% of 6 hour 40 minutes
∴ 6 hour 45 min = (6 × 60) + 40min
= 360 + 40
= 400 min
∴ 2 1/45 = 9/4%
= 9/4 × 1/100 × 400
= 9
(d) 7/8 % of 78m
= 7/8 × 1/100 × 78
= 2 + 3/4 × 1/100
= 68.25/100 m
