Question no – (1)
Solution :
Let interest on principal 6000 rupees be x rupees.
Interest on principal 100 rupees is 10 rupees.
Thus, x/6000 = 10/100
Now, multiplying both side by 6000
= (x/6000) × 6000 = (10/100) × 6000
= x = 10×60
= x = ₹600
Hence, the interest is ₹600
Question no – (2)
Solution :
Let interest on principal 8650 rupees be x rupees.
Interest on principal 100 rupees is 6 rupees.
Thus, x/8650 = 6/100
Now, Multiplying both side by 8650
(x/8650) × 8650 = (6/100) × 8650
= x = 0.6 × 865
= x = ₹ 519
Total money = deposit + interest
= 8650 + 519
= ₹9169
Hence, Mahesh get at the end of the year in all is ₹9169.
Question no – (3)
Solution :
Let interest on principal 25000 rupees be x rupees.
Interest on principal 100 rupees is 12 rupees.
Thus, x/25000 = 12/100
Now, Multiplying both side by 25000
(x/25000) × 25000 = (12/100) × 25000
x = 12 × 250 = ₹ 3000
Total money = deposit + interest
= 25000 + 3000
= ₹28000
Hence, Ahmed chacha return ₹28000 to the bank at the end of the year.
Question no – (4)
Solution :
Let interest on principal 35250 rupees be x rupees.
Interest on principal 100 rupees is 6 rupees.
Thus, x/35250 = 6/100
Now, Multiplying both side by 35250
(x/35250) × 35250 = (6/100) × 35250
x = 0.6 × 3525
= x = ₹2115
Therefore, Kisanrao ₹2115 pay to the bank at the end of the year.
