**Frank Learning Maths Class 4 Solutions Chapter 6 Division**

Welcome to NCTB Solutions. Here with this post we are going to help 4th class students for the Solutions of Frank Learning Maths Class 4 Math Book, Chapter 6, Division. Here students can easily find step by step solutions of all the problems for Division, Exercise 6.1, 6.2, 6.3, 6.4, 6.5, 6.6, 6.7, 6.8 6.9 and 6.10 Also here our mathematics teacher’s are solved all the problems with easily understandable methods with proper guidance so that all the students can understand easily.

**Division Exercise 6.2 Solution : **

**Question no – (2) **

**Solution :**

**(a)** If R = 5 so divides (465 – 5) = 460

So, 460 ÷ 10

= **46**

**(b)** (6051 – 1)

= 6050 ÷ 10

= **605**

**(c)** (2148 – 148)

= 2000

So, 2000 ÷ 1000

= **2**

**(d)** (5008 – 8)

= 5000

So, 5000 ÷ 100

= **50**

**Division Exercise 6.4 Solution : **

**Question no – (4) **

**Solution :**

Dividend = Divisor × Quotient + Remainder

**(a)** So, Dividend

= 487 × 12

= 5844

**(b)** Dividend

= 63 × 19 + 5

= 1197 + 5

= 1202

**(c)** Divisor

= 2940/35

= 85

**Division Exercise 6.5 Solution : **

**Question no – (1) **

**Solution :**

**(a)** 5674 ÷ 1 = __5674__

**(b)** 3245 ÷ __1__ = 3245

**(c)** 0 ÷ 6745 = __0__

**(d)** __9455__ ÷ 1 = 9455

**(e)** 48 ÷ 48 = __1__

**(f)** __0__ ÷ 3325 = 0

**(g)** __76__ ÷ 76 = 1

**(h)** 63 ÷ __63__ = 1

**Division Exercise 6.6 Solution : **

**Question no – (2) **

**Solution :**

**(a)** Quotient = Dividend – Remainder/ Divisor = 861 – 0 / 123 = 7

**(b)** Dividend = Divisor × Quotient + remainder

= 155 × 6 + 10

= 930 + 10

= 940

**(c)** Divisor = Dividend – Remainder/Quotient

= 8927 – 0/79

= 113

**Division Exercise 6.7 Solution : **

**Question no – (1)**

**Solution :**

**∴** 459 boxes are needed.

So, 2 pencils will be left.

**Question no – (2)**

**Solution :**

**∴** 111 rows can be made and 5 chairs will be left.

**Question no – (3)**

**Solution :**

**∴** 526 tins were put in each container.

**Question no – (4)**

**Solution :**

**∴** 191 people can sit in each section.

**Question no – (5)**

**Solution :**

**∴** 57 boxes are needed to pack all sweets.

**Question no – (6)**

**Solution :**

There are 60 minutes in 1 hours

**∴** 2520 minutes

= 42 hours.

**Question no – (7)**

**Solution :**

The another number is –

Hence, the other number will be 52

**Question no – (8)**

**Solution :**

1 week = 7 days

So,

So, 1575 days

= 225 week.

**Question no – (9) **

**Solution :**

Cost of each shirt –

= Rs 384

**Question no – (10)**

**Solution :**

**∴** Each person get 8 apples.

**Question no – (11)**

**Solution :**

**∴** 25 packet are required to pack all balloons.

**Question no – (12)**

**Solution :**

**∴** The wire can be cut 58 pieces are 65 meter are remaining.

**Division Exercise 6.8 Solution : **

**Question no – (1) **

**Solution :**

**(a)** If 10 kg rice cost 850, so what is the cost of 1 kg rice ?

**(b)** Product of two number is 750. If 27 is one number so what is the another one ?

**(c)** A packet contain 42 pens. So How many packets are required to pack 3318 pens?

**(d)** The weight of 73 bags of rice is 1533. What is the weight of 1 bag of rice?

**(e)** If 832 banana distributed among 104 people so what is the share of each person.

**(f)** What is the quotient if Divisor = 9375 and Dividend = 125.

**Division Exercise 6.9 Solution : **

**Question no – (1) **

**Solution :**

Rounding to nearest tens

**(a)** 80 ÷ 20

= 4

**(b)** 90 ÷ 30

= 3

**(c)** 60 ÷ 20

= 3

**(d)** 190 ÷ 20

Quotient = 9

Remaining = 10

**(e)** 260 ÷ 30

Q = 8

R = 20

**(f)** 580 ÷ 60

Q = 9

R = 40

**(g)** 3610 ÷ 50

Q = 72

R = 10

**(h)** 7620 ÷ 20

= 381

**(i)** 1830 ÷ 30

= 61

**Division Exercise 6.10 Solution : **

**Question no – (1)**

**Solution :**

**(a) **9 + 2 + 1 + 5 – 3 – 1

= 17 – 3 – 1

= 14 – 1

= 13

**(b)** 5 + 2 × 3 × 1 + 4

= 5 + 6 + 4

= 16

**(c)** 600 ÷ 8 + 3 + 2

= 75 + 3 + 2

= 78 + 2

= 80

**(d)** 5 × 684 ÷ 4 – 2

= 5 × 171 – 2

= 855 – 2

= 853

**(e)** 666 ÷ 6 + 1 + 5

= 111 + 1 + 5

= 117

**(f)** 500 ÷ 10 × 4 + 8 – 1

= 50 × 4 + 8 – 1

= 200 + 8 – 1

= 207

**(g)** 472 – 270 ÷ 10

= 472 – 27

= 445

**(h)** 629 + 132 ÷ 3 × 5

= 629 + 44 × 5

= 629 + 220

= 849

**(i)** 215 + 405 × 48 ÷ 8 – 34

= 215 + 405 × 6 – 34
