Understanding Elementary Shapes Exercise 13.1 Solution :

Question no – (1)

Solution :

Measure of the given line segments are,

AB = 4.8 cm

CD = 3.7 cm

EF = 4.2 cm

Question no – (2)

Solution :

LM, MN, NO, PO, QR, and KL are all line segment.

Measures :

LM = 1.5 cm, MN = 4.2 cm, NO = 2 cm,

OP = 1 cm, PQ = 1.2 cm, QK = 2.5 cm, KL= 2.6 cm

The line segments from the longest to the shortest,

MN > KL > QK > NO > LM > PQ > OP
