As per the question,

AB = 8.2 cm and from it cut off a segment AC of length 3.7 cm

Required figure,

Measure of the remaining segment,

AB = 8.2 cm

AC = 3.7 cm

CB = 4.5 cm

Question no – (3)

Solution :

As per the question,

line segment PQ = 7.2 cm.

Required figure,

AB = 7.cm

AO = 3.6 cm

BO = 3.6 cm

Question no – (4)

Solution :

According to the question,

Line segment EF of length 7.2 cm and divide into 3 equal parts.

The two points of division as G and H.

Required figure,

Measures :

EF = 7.2 cm

EG = 2.4 cm

GH = 2.4 cm

HF = 2.4 cm

Question no – (5)

Solution :

As per the given question,

Line segment LM = 8 cm.

Mark three points of division on it it as A, B, C

Required figure,

Measures :

LM = 8 cm

LA = 2 cm

AB = 2 cm

BC = 2 cm

CM = 2 cm

Basic Geometric Figures Exercise 9C Solution :

Question no – (1)

Solution :

Figure – (a) All angles are =  ∠ABC, ∠CBA, ∠B

Figure – (b) All angles are = ∠q, ∠PQR ∠RQP

Figure – (c) All angles are =  ∠M, ∠LMR, ∠RML

Question no – (2)

Solution :

Name of six angles in the diagram that have O as a vertex are,

∠AOB, ∠BOC, ∠COD, ∠AOD ∠AOC, ∠BOD

Question no – (3)

Solution :

(a) the interior of ∠U.

= A,B

(b) the exterior of ∠U.

= P, Q

(c) that lie on ∠U.

= S, U, T

Question no – (4)

Solution :

Total angle = 360°

POS + QOR + ROS + SOP = 360°

4 POQ = 360 [∵ POQ = QOR = ROS SOP]

or, POQ = 360/4 = 90°

Therefore, Each angles = 90°

Question no – (5)

Solution :

(a) From N to E

= 90°

(b) From N to S

= 180°

(c) From N to NE

= 45°

(d) From NE to W

= 225°

(e) From NW to SE

= 180°

(f) From NW to SW

= 270°

Question no – (6)

Solution :

A circle of clock = 360°

Numerals Indicating how’s = 12

Angle between two adjacent,

= 360/12

= 30°

Therefore, the measure of the angle will be 30°

Question no – (7)

Solution :

Measure of figure – (a) = 90°

Measure of figure – (b) = 135°

Measure of figure – (c) = 60°

Measure of figure – (d) = 180°

Measure of figure – (e) = 125°

Measure of figure – (f) = 30°

Question no – (8)

Solution :

(a) Angle measure 60°

(b) Angle measure 80°

(c) Angle measure 120°

(d) Angle measure 170°

(e) Angle measure 30°

(f) Angle measure 150°

(g) Angle measure 105°

(h) Angle measure 45°
