Circle Exercise 15.1 Solution

Question no – (1)

Solution :

Radius :

Any straight line joining the centre to a point on the circumference is called its radius.

Diameter :

A diameter of the circle is a line segment which passes through the centre of the circle and whose end points lie on circumference of the circle.

Circumference :

The length of closed curve terming the circle is called is called its circumference.

Question no – (2)

Solution :

Are = A continuous piece of a circle is called an are.

Two unequal are which the greater is called the Major are and the smaller is called the minor are.
