Answer :  

  • Sushruta Samhita :

Sushruta Samhita is one of the renowned oldest books in the world that contains the history of surgery. From this book it is probably to be told that Sushruta was the surgeon in the world. However, some ancients surgeons developed the tooth extraction and bloodletting process.

  • First Cardiac Surgery : 

In the ancient age there was no proper procedures and no medical equipment’s to perform a cardiac surgery. So, doctors usually used sedatives for the treatment of a heart patient and in most of the cases they died. Later Dr. Daniel hale Williams, an African surgeon, performed a new technique and saved a life of a heart patient, James Cornish who got a cut on an artery of his heart. That is why Dr. Williams become the first cardiac surgeon.

  • First Neurosurgeon : 

Dr. Harvey cushing is regarded as the first neurosurgeon as well as the father of modern neurological surgery. It is because of him that mortality rate for neurosurgery has been reduced day by day .He had invented an wonderful method called ‘cushing clip’ to control the blood loss in neurosurgery.

  • The robotic surgery : 

The robotic surgery is a modern kind of surgery where miniaturized surgical are usually used instead of large incisions. In this surgery the doctors used the most advanced surgical robot – the Da Vinci and on the three separate robotic arms, the miniaturized equipment’s are placed. The fourth arm of the robot contain a 3-D camera in order to guide the surgeon during the surgery.
