Chapter 4.3 : The Bees Exercise question Solutions

Answer :

(a) King /Emperor bee :

King Emperor bees ruled their kingdom. They divided the work of each bee and managed all the things.

(b) Magistrate bees :

The work that magistrate bees do is to correct all the things in their hive.

(c) Merchant bees :

It is the businessman category bee. This kinds of bees manage the trade with abroad with their life risks.

(d) Soldier bees :

The soldier bees have special stings which they used when they encounter with any problems. During the summer they collect velvet buds and then they return home with merry march. After that they give all the buds to the emperor bees.

(e) Mason bees :

Another kind of bees, the mason bees usually build the golden hive for all of them to live.

(f) Civilian bees :

The other bees collect nectar from flowers and after that the civilian bees make honey from those nectar. They kneading up the honey.

(g) Porter bees :

The poor porter bees serve as guards and do not allow his heavy burdens to enter the hive. They allow only the important things to enter.

(h) judge bees :

The judge bees are meant to do justice to all. They give punishment if someone do not do their work properly. The judge bees also punished the lazy bees who never do any work.
