The great Art festival in school :
ABC, 16 July: the most awaited art festival held in balanand vidyalaya yesterday morning in the presence of renowned artist shri charudutta diwan and other invited guests, parents and teachers. It was mainly organized to encourage school children towards art and culture for enhancing their talents. The principal, vice principal and the chief guest gave their speech in the programme which worked as inspiration for students. Some students presented Taal Kacheri in cooperation with different musical instruments like mridangam, dholak, tabla and ghatam. Everyone presented there greatly applauded their performance by clapping hands. One student of class VII performed koli dance gracefully which filled all minds with amazement. After that students of class IX performed a comedy play named The Boy Comes Home which was also a fantastic performance. Then the time of prize distribution came and all enjoyed the moment. Finally, the art teacher Miss Shilpa Sanghani thanked all for their presence which helped the festival to be completed successfully. The festival worked as a representation of encouraging children to different artistic creativities from the school.

The teacher’s day programme :
Teachers’ day is celebrated as special occasion in our school every year. All the programs and arrangements that organized on teachers’ day bring excitement in minds of all students in school. We wait the whole year to spend the day in a new way with lots of enjoyment. We wish our beloved teachers on this day with flowers, greetings cards and gifts. We also arrange cultural programme in our school premises to show respect and gratitude towards our teachers. Teachers also become very delighted to see our gesture. Teachers generally do not take classes on that day and senior students of class 11 and 12 come to take classes wearing sarees just like teachers. We usually do not study on that day and share our knowledge, different experiences with them. Some senior students teach us in a friendly way just to clear our confusions on different subjects. All over we enjoy the whole day with lots of new things and experiences.
• An exhibition of science projects arranged in our classroom :
Our school arrange science exhibition every year for a particular class to encourage students towards science and technology. This year an amazing exhibition was organized in our class with different science related projects of class 7. As we were informed before about the special exhibition we were waiting eagerly in classroom. Our science teacher came with other two science teachers and two senior students to show and make us understand all the functions and importance of those science projects. I personally liked the magnet related project with which my concept about magnetism got clear. Some students who have difficulties in studying science became interested to study science. So, the science exhibition has left a positive in our class with its new ways and knowledge.
• A wedding anniversary/ birthday celebration for my grandparents that I have arranged with my family :
I arranged a grand celebration for my grandfather’s 80th birthday on 21 february this year with my parents’ and cousins’ cooperation. My grandfather is the most beloved person of me who have always stayed beside me in all situations and also gave guidance. I had a plan to give him surprise on his birthday for so long which I fulfilled this year. I along with my father invited all guests and relatives to attend the party on the specific day. My mother baked a special cake which flavour was my grandfather’s favourite. I gifted him a photo collage with all his special photos with family members which was specially made by me. We arranged all the special dishes of his choice in party. He became very happy to get all his family members together on that day. I was very happy to make him happy which was the main reason of arranging the party.
