(a) Everybody possesses an equal right in making decisions regarding the family matters, societal issues or community related matters. We enjoy full freedom to make decisions for the betterment of our society and environment. No one can restrain us from performing our desired roles. Every single members of the society has the right to participate in the decision making process regarding the environmental change.
(b) Tolerance :
Every time, it may not be possible for us to show our approval with each other. Sometimes, there are difference of opinions that may arise between two friends or people. At that moment, we must try to appreciate others view point rather than asserting that our own perspective is only correct. On such context, we must try to listen to the advice of other person. In this way, we can develop a sense of tolerance.
(c) Gender equality :
Gender equality refers to the state when people irrespective of their genders possesses an equal rights, enjoys equal responsibilities and opportunities. When both boys and girls are treated as equal without having any kind of gender discrimination is known as gender equality. We should always maintain this idea of equality as citizens when we mature. When people will develop this concept of equality, everyone will get the opportunity to learn and advance towards the progress of life.
(d) Common needs of men and women :
Food, clothing, shelter, health and education are the basic necessities of life for both men and women. Each of these basic needs should be fulfilled properly for the purpose of equality. Both men and women possesses equal rights to enjoy such facilities. Correspondingly, men and women should be subjected to equal opportunities of progress.

(a) Whenever any kind of decisions are taken in our family, we always talk to each other before arriving at any decisions. My viewpoints are always given importance regarding any decisions that are taken in the family. The subject matter is always discussed in detail by my family members. We always consult with every members of our family and arrive at decisions that everyone approves with. In this way, I participate in the decision-making process in the family.
