**Exercise:- 7**

**(1) What is the measure of the supplementary angle of 28 ^{0}?**

**Solution:- **

The measure of the supplementary angle of 28^{0} = (90-28)^{0}

(a) = 62^{0}

**(2) What is the measure of the vertically opposite angle of 37 ^{0}?**

Solution:-

Vertically opposite angle of 37^{0}

(180-37)^{0}

= 143^{0} (d)

**(3) What is the sum of two angles complementary to each other?**

**Solution:- **

Sum of two complementary to each other (c) 90^{0}.

**(4) If one of the three angles of a triangle is 45 ^{0}, what will be another greater angle?**

**Solution:- **

If one of the three angles of a triangle is 45^{0}, what will be the another greater angle – (c) 90^{0}

**(5) In case of construction**

**Solution:-**

Correct – (i), (ii), (iii)

**(10) Use a ruler to draw a line segment of a length of 8 cm. Use the ruler and the compass to make a copy of this line segment.**

**(11) Draw a line segment of a length of 6 cm. Use the ruler and the compass to bisect this line segment. Measure the length of the segments and verify whether they are equal or not?**

**(12) Use a ruler to draw a line segment of a length 8 cm. Use the ruler and the compass to divide the line segment into four equal parts**

**(13) Using a ruler and a compass draw a perpendicular bisector of a line segment of a length of 7 cm.**

**(14) Draw perpendicular bisector of a line segment of a length of 8 cm.**

**(15) Draw perpendicular CD at a point C on a line AB. Again, take any other point E on CD and draw a perpendicular at E.**

**(16) Draw the angle 45 ^{0} without using a protractor.**

**(17) Draw the bisectors of the three angles of the triangle ABC and identify their common point of intersections.**
