Here in this post all the solutions are based on ICSE latest Syllabus.

**Data Handling Exercise 21.1 Solution :**

**Question no – (1) **

**Solution : **

In ascending order,

= 0, 0, 1, 1, 2, 2, 2, 3, 3, 4, 5, 5, 6, 87,

**∴** Mean = 42/14

= 3

Now, Median = 2 + 3/2

= 5/2

= 2.5

**∴** Mode = 2

Therefore, Mean = 3, Median = 2.5, Mode = 2

**Question no – (2) **

**Solution : **

In ascending order,

32, 32, 33, 45, 648

Mean = 32 + 32 + 33 + 45 + 48/5

= 190/5

= 38

**∴** Median = (5 +1/8)th

= 3 rd

Median = 33

Now, mode, = 32

Therefore, Mean = 38, Median = 33 , Mode = 32.

**Question no – (3) **

**Solution : **

In ascending order,

20, 22, 24, 24, 30

Mean = 2 + 22 + 24 + 24 + 30/5

= 120/5

= 24

Median = (5 + 1/2)th

= 6/2

= 3rd

**∴** Median is = 24

Now, Mode = 24

Therefore, Mean = 24, Median = 24, Mode = 24.
