Question no – (3) 

Answer : 

(a) The statue of the Happy Prince located high above the city.

(b) The swallow decided to stay under the statue of Happy Prince because he thought that as the statue was so high, so here would be enough  fresh air to breathe.

(c) The prince was sad to see the despair, the unhappiness of people of his city.

(d) The first task given to the little swallow by the happy Prince’s statue was that he has to take the red jewel from the statue’s waist and give it to the poor woman whose son was so ill and was starving.

(e) The Prince gifted one of the two gemstones of his eyes to a poor and hungry writer and the another to a little girl who was selling eggs.

(f) The little swallow finally decided to stay with the prince instead of go to Egypt. He has made this decision because he loved the prince very much. No, it was not a wise decision as it caused him to death but it was a very emotional decision.

Question no – (7) 

Answer :  

The little swallow finally decided to not to go to Egypt and remain with the prince. He not only supports the prince in his good times but also in his need. Even when he was about to die in the bitter cold, he still not flew away from there. Seeing the bond and love of the little bird towards the prince, the God turned the bitter cold into a pleasant warm weather and made the swallow capable of bear the cold. The prince got back his glory again. After that the swallow never went to anywhere and they both lived happily with each other.
