Question no – (3)

Answer :

I went quickly to my spiritual teacher for advice because I had deeply hurt my friend by speaking very harsh and unkind words. I was so afraid of losing friendship with him that I wanted help from my teacher. My wise teacher gave me a piece of paper and a pen to write down all those harsh words I have spoken to him. After writing the teacher ordered me to tear the paper into tiny pieces and throw them out of the window. I do it accordingly and then my teacher asked me to get back the small bits of paper from whenever it got scattered. I told him it was impossible task but my teacher assured me that it will be difficult but not impossible. So I went to get back the pieces of paper and returned with nothing. Then he advised me that words are same in manner once one utter them cannot get back by any means. In this way I have learned the importance of thinking wisely before speaking.
