**Question no – (1)**

**Solution :**

**(a)** Not adjacent, because they have not common vertex.

**(b)** Yes, it have common vertex.

**(c)** Not, adjacent, they have not common vertex.

**(d)** Yes, due to common vertex they are adjacent.

**Question no – (2)**

**Solution** :

**(a)** 43 + 56

= 99°

∴ Not complementary

**(b)** 47 + 43

= 90°

∴ It is complementary

**(c)** 120° + 60

= 180°

∴ not complementary

**(d)** 45° + 45°

= 90°

∴ It is complementary

**(e)** 72° + 18°

= 90°

∴ It is complementary

**Solution :**

**(a)** 56° + 34°

= 90°

∴ not supplementary

**(b)** 160° + 20°

= 180°

∴ It is supplementary

= 180°

∴ Supplementary
