(c) The star Mosque in Dhaka

The star mosque in Dhaka was built in the first half of 19th century or early 18th century is known as Tara Masjid which located in Abul Khairat Road. It is a famous mosque in Dhaka. It is build in the original Mughal design and it has total 5 domes. This mosque is decorated with different sizes of starts on dome and also in outside wall. So that the star motif that gives the structure of its popular name star Mosque. In this mosque chinaware and white cements are used for decoration. This star theme enhance of the mosque beauty and it is echrd in the mosaics floor and floral tiles on the wall found on the interior of the mosque. Lastly we also said that this great and famous star mosque is build by Mirza Ghulam Pir, who was a respectable Zamindar of Dhaka.

Ans: Paharpur is situated in Naogam district and Naogam is mainly plain land but in the middle of it stood a hill covered with jungle. But once time the jungle was cleared and the hill excavated. Pahar means hill. Hence the name Paharpur.
