(6) What are the two different ideas about why so few animals were killed in the tsunami? Which idea do you find more believable?
Answer :
So, few animals were killed in the tsunami because many people believe that animals have a sixth sense. Indeed, they know when the earth is going to shake. Some experts also believe that animals have an more acute sense of hearing which helps them to feel or hear the earth’s vibration. Due to this efficiency they can sense an approaching disaster long before humans realise what’s going on. Since, it is scientifically proven that they have the ability of hearing the low frequency sounds, I think the second idea is more believable.
